What exactly is involved in a property viewing tour? And how long should it take? This is how we do it at Casa Andalucía.

1. Tell us what you’re looking for. Before you visit us, we’ll ask you what you want from your Spanish property. Do you want to look at new developments or resale homes? Would you like to be near the beach? What type of lifestyle do you lead? And how many bedrooms will you need? Once we hear your ideas and understand your requirements, we can get to work finding the best properties in the most idyllic locations for you.

2. Meeting up. Whether you want to spend a few days lazing by the pool before you start your tour, or you’re raring to go, we’ll organise a meeting time that suits you. We can arrange for a friendly face to pick you up from the airport, your hotel or at your home, wherever you are.

3. Getting started. Before we start looking at properties, we’ll chat about the requirements for your home in Spain . It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, re-establish what you’re looking for and make sure you’re happy with the plan for the day. We’ll answer any questions you may have and, if you choose, you can meet with in private an independent lawyer or mortgage brokerAre you not exactly sure how much you can afford or what options you have, this is a great opportunity to find out.

4. Get to know the area. Now it’s time to hop into an air-conditioned car and start the tour. The nature of the tour will depend on how well you know the region and what your requirements are. We can begin by showing you round some of the different areas, looking at local facilities, beaches, golf courses and schools, whatever you’d like to see. If you already know where you’d like to start looking we’ll head straight to the properties. Everyone is different, so every tour is different!

5. The properties. We tend not to show more than 4-6 properties in a day as our clients have told us, any more can be a little overwhelming. That’s where our research really comes in – we won’t waste time showing you properties that don’t match your requirements. We’ll always try to show you a range of property types so you can make the most informed decision. With thousands of properties to choose from there’s something to suit every taste and budget. We like to stop off somewhere for a relaxing lunch, giving you the chance talk in private or with us. We want you to relax and enjoy it!

6. The end of the day. After you’ve viewed the day’s property selection you may want to discount some of the properties now, or arrange for a second look at your favourites. We can also select new appointments for the next day. Then you’re free to enjoy all the area’s attractions for the evening. Ofcourse we can recommend you nice places to visit.

7. Finding your perfect Spanish property. If you haven´t been here before, we usually recommend you spend two days viewing properties. Do you already know the area, it may be good to view two days as well, but often 2 mornings can be sufficient. We are happy to spend the time you need until you feel ready to make an informed decision. If that decision is to go ahead and buy, you can put down a holding deposit to take your chosen property off the market (for this reason it helps bring a credit card along).
